I’m a software engineer based in Charlotte, NC. I currently work at Messer Financial Group, where I build backend services, third-party integrations, and the Angular frontends that sit on top of them. Before that, I worked on claims-processing and policy-management systems at Virtusa/Centene, and earlier built banking software at Ethiopia’s Information Network Security Agency.
Right now that mostly means backend services and third-party integrations — OAuth-based API integrations, scheduled synchronization jobs, and event-driven workflows with RabbitMQ — alongside the Angular and React work that connects to them. Outside of work I’m building FreelanceDesk, a client-portal product for freelancers, using Next.js and Supabase.
